On the fence! *UPDATED*
I am on the fence about this floor mat. I have lots of kids so I have had all kinds of floor mats over the years. Of all the mats I have ever used, this one is the smallest and bulkiest. The other mats I have owned have been a lot wider so they tend to catch more. With that being said, I can see the benefits of having a more narrow mat - it will fit in more areas! Not everyone has a big open area for a high chair. Personally, I have mine tucked in the corner of my dining room where space is scarce, so even though I wish it was wider, it wouldnt be convenient. Also, this mat is bulkier than others I have used. It is hard to lay it flat and it has the tendency to drive me bananas. I am hoping that all of the creases with smooth out so I can make it lay flatter. I have put it near a heater vent hoping that the heat will soften it up a bit. So far - no change.
Here's what I do like:
*Super easy to clean up. I have wiped it with a wet rag with zero issues, cling, or resistance.
*See-through - no stupid characters to distract from my nice decor
It isn't expensive so it's a good deal - even if you end up throwing it away in a fit of frustration.
UPDATE - I changed my mind - I hate this thing. It is too thick to be of any use. It will not lay flat for anything. It gets crumpled and ends up getting dragged in the wheels all the time. I have moved it from the kitchen and now it is a mat for my kids to do art over. Never again.
