This product was advertised as a device that would extend a weak wifi signal to other floors in your house. It not only didn't do that, it also degraded my wifi service. As an FYI, you have to get support from them via chat/email and cannot speak directly to a support person. After HOURS on the chat with a customer service rep, he decided to refer my problem to a 'senior specialist'; who would call me within 48 hours. Needless to say, I followed up frequently and then received an email, 10 days later, saying that they would be willing to talk with me at 9:00 p.m. I asked for a earlier time never heard back. When I was finally able to talk with someone, I was informed that this product was meant for placement on the same floor as the router, not for my purposes. I was also informed that I needed a Powerline Adaptor. Bottom line, I returned the product, as well ass the one I purchased for my neighbor. Stay away! p.s. my wifi is still messed up!!!
