The Carlinkit works great once it is connected to the Apple Carplay. My issue is trying to get it to connect every day. I had to unplug it from my vehicle. Turn off my wifi on my phone and wait a minute. I then plugged in the unit and turned on my phone wifi. Most of the time the connection would be successful but sometimes I had to repeat the process. My vehicle is a 2018 Mercedes GLE 350. The issues occurred with an iPhone 11 and iPhone 12. I used it for about 2 weeks until I returned it. I would rather plug in my phone than deal with the issues I was having with the connection several times a day.
