As a professional nail tech I wanted a back up LED light and didn't want to pay the high professional product price tag. I thought this would fit the bill. Unfortunately there are too many necessary improvements that need to be made. For example: the inside is all black (should be reflective mirror/silver finish so the light reflects at all angles for a more complete cure) and dark colors don't fully cure properly nor do the undersides of the thumbs. The buttons on the back should be a little lower because as a tech doing other people's nails I rest my hand right where the buttons are thus hitting them inadvertently and turning them off. Things I like: it's light weight. I have found it beneficial to polish four fingers on each hand and then the thumbs together and have the client hold the light with their fingers underneath the base and just their two thumbs inside curing at the same time and this light is light weight enough for them to do that without strain on their wrists. I also really like the comfort curing option where in the light slowly raises to full strength thus avoiding heat spikes when curing hard gel enhancements. That being said though it does take longer to cure and thinner viscosity hard gels can flood the side walls before they're fully cured. Which is a bummer and makes more work for me on the back end filing the final shape. For these reasons I give it only two stars.
