I assembled, positioned and locked this thing on to my back door as per instructions. Then I went around the house to test it out. The test was just me giving the door a shove with one hand, not using any bodyweight. I wanted to see how well it would hold up to someone attempting to break in. 1. First shove: no movement. 2. Second shove: bar loosed up, door cracked. 3. Third shove: bar popped, door opened a few inches. 4. Forth shove: bar broke into two pieces, door opens. Good luck if you're using this product to stop an intruder.
