Recipes are Ok. Beautiful book, but overpriced and OVERSIZED
First off, I decided to review this book because I was rather annoyed that the other three reviewers likely know the author. Why do I think this? All 3 have only reviewed this book, all reviews were completed within a 48 hour period a few months ago, all say things that encourage you to buy extra books, and one of the reviewers is from the same town as the author. I depend a lot on reviews and that just doesn't seem right to me. This book does have some nice recipes. Some of the ingredients might be a little hard to come by, but I garden and I can see myself being able to make a lot of the recipes. The book really is beautiful, but I guess I was looking more for function and less for beautiful. This book is way too big. I seriously don't know how I am going to fit it on the shelves where I keep my recipe books. Also, it is just plain awkward to read. It's not thick, it's just very tall and wide. If you want a coffee table book about spa water, I think this book would be good for that. If you want a lot of healthy recipes to jazz up water, I recommend the book "Cool Waters" which I ordered at the same time as this one. I paid about $10 for "Cool Waters" which has 50 recipes (20 cents per recipe), whereas this book has 22 recipes for about $22 ($1 per recipe). The quality of the recipes is comparable, but "Cool Waters" is not as visually artistic as this book.
