The Micro USB charging cable is junk! On first use the cable plug (speaker end) seem to be lose from the molded rubber. Over the next few hours I moved the speaker on my desk while plugged-in. ~~ NO excessive pressure or movement on the plug cable. Then I smelled rubber meltdown/burning - the cable was on ON-FIRE & the papers under it also caught FIRE! ~~ Diet Pepsi 2 the rescue. Fortunately I had a full glass of Diet Pepsi on my desk which got used for something never imagined by PepsiCo, Inc. ~ Papers, Cable & Soundcore Mini 2 now in the Palm Beach county dump. -LJ
