After connecting ipad Pro to LG TV via the USB-C Digital AV Adapter, using a gold tip HDMI cable, the picture quality had a red overtone to the whole screen. 2. not sure if related, but after trying to charge the ipad via the Adapter, and then connecting to the TV, my ipad screen went black. I could not open it or reboot: I charged it for over an hour and still only had "black screen of death". Fortunately I found via search how to recover the ipad, via being connected to itunes on laptop, toggling the two side buttons, and then holding the top button until the reboot apple reappeared. This had never happened to the ipad Pro before- I don't believe in coincidences. 3. It did work for playing songs from my ipad. 4. I tried to get help from Apple before returning it, but in order to do that, they require you enter a serial number online before they will chat or talk to you. Problem is, I entered three sets of numbers I could see, using a magnifier no less, but all of these numbers were rejected as not being valid.
