Do not buy this tablet. The Fire just decides when it wants to work or doesn't want to work. I have never dropped the tablet, put it in an unsafe situation and have generally taken care of it better then my other electronics. At the 3 month mark, while streaming, I click the volume button to turn it up and listen and the tablet has become a brick... no power, no response from any of the buttons and not even an identifier when charging. I am not the only one of my deployed group that has had this problem either, with 3 of 4 Fire hd8s going down within first 4 months of purchase. I say again, do not buy this product.
