I first fell in love with these shoes when I bought them at Nordstrom. After wearing them down, I decided to order a new pair via Amazon. Since I knew my size, I wasn't concerned about it not fitting. After receiving my pair, they felt a bit snug. I tried to walk around in them thinking that it might just need to be broken in. It was a bit weird because I distinctly remember not having to do that with my last pair, but I decided to give Amazon the benefit of the doubt. After a few days of "breaking them in," there was no give. I took them to a local Nordstrom and asked them for a 7.5 of the same shoe. After comparing them, the associate and I could EASILY tell these were fake. The shoe associate (very familiar with the brand) even assessed and confirmed they were not real. If Amazon wants to be seen as a marketplace for fashion goods, they cannot let things like this happen. It is completely unacceptable that I pay the price for Steve Madden's but receive Joe Fadden's instead...I'm sorry, not ok. If you're okay with this, go a full size (not a half) above your shoe size for these. Otherwise, go into a reputable retailer like Nordstrom and pay extra for QUALITY and AUTHENTICITY.
