I loved the cute design of it and ordered it. The function of the product is a total disappointment. There is no point to buy this product as it's the same thing as frying the food in an oil-filled pot on the stove top. The purpose of a deep fryer should be having a lid over the fryer to avoid the kitchen smell bad, and it has to do the job without a mess. This has a plastic lid which can be used only when the fryer is cool only for covering the top of it for storage purposes. The body of the fryer gets very hot, make sure there are no children around it in the kitchen as the plastic lid can't be used while it's frying the food. Bottom of the fryer gets hot too, make sure to put something under it to avoid your countertop burned.
