UPDATE: Yes! We have moved it to all the locations that are considered “correct squirrel placement” we fave up and moved it where our grandmother could actually see the birds eat their food!The squirrels couldn't quite figure out why their weight was lowering the perch, but he quickly figured out a way, and are the rubber membrane for the bird beaks and all the seed pours out of that hold and the squirrels all feast on the ground . For the high-cost, and all the reassurances in the description that “it’s squirrel-proof!” we had really hoped to at least get the winter season out of it.....instead we got about 3 days :(
