If I could leave zero stars, I would. I never leave reviews but feel morally obligated in this case. I received this product yesterday evening, used it and followed the directions to the tee. I even tested the product beforehand to ensure I did not have an allergic reaction to it. I woke up this morning with the TOPS of my feet peeling painfully after less than 12 hours from application. This is definitely not supposed to happen, the brand makes it clear you can expect it to happen after a few days. This proceeded to worsen throughout the day today, even without socks or shoes. Simply being barefoot in my own home. This product has given me very clear chemical burns. And now, I am resigned to have to wait for it to extend to the rest of my feet for the next 10-14 days. I truly don't know how I will tolerate shoes, even socks are painful to wear. And, I have no idea how I'm going to be able to walk on my feet when this starts extending to the soles of my feet. I'm hoping it won't be as severe. Amazon issued me a refund immediately, but please...don't buy this product. I don't want this to happen to anyone else! Or at least, don't buy it online and purchase through a beauty store like Ulta where the products are more tightly regulated. My suspicion is that this is a knock-off, misformulated application with too much of the active acids which have caused a chemical burn.
