I bought four of these dehumidifiers last year. They work acceptably, but there's rapid buildup of mold inside the reservoirs, which are designed so that they're very difficult to clean. Now they're a health hazard, with ugly, potentially dangerous mold coating the insides. I tried contacting Frigidaire or Electrolux (parent company) to find out the best way to clean these (some cleaners can attack the plastic the parts are made from), and spend a frustrating 1/2 hour trying to get the information, or a human. Getting a person is impossible, and a quick search of consumer complaint websites will show I'm not alone in deciding never to purchase a Frigidaire or Electrolux product ever again. Customer service matters - make that clear with your dollars and support companies that will support you!
