Where do I begin? This stroller fails on so many levels as a stroller. Ergonomics for starters. Using both seats, your largest child will need to sit in the front seat. The canopy in the rear seat is too low and will squish your older childs head (our 2 1/2 yo) if they try and sit in the back. In addition to this...putting all the weight in the front, making it more difficult to maneuver, lift on and off curbs etc., the front seat doesnt seem to be designed for a taller or older child either. The foot rest is too high and too close to the seat, so my 2 1/2 year old legs are bent at an uncomfortable 70 degree angle, with knees up high. If he lets his feet dangle ignoring the foot rest, they get caught in the wheels and can get pulled under the stroller. Then there is the distance between the 2 seats. If he reclines the front seat to the aft (more comfortable) position, he is close enough to the rear seat that my 7 month old can kick it constantly. Then there is the seat cushions. They are about 2-3 inches too short. Only about enough space for their cheeks to sit on but no thigh support. They also seem to slope forward.
The cargo net is difficult to access. You have to remove the second seat foot platform in order to be able to slide bags down into the net from between the seats. That same foot rest makes it impossible to load anything from the rear too.
The stroller doesnt collapse very compact. With the 3rd row down in our Durango, it still eats up a ton of cargo room. Too long to fit fore and aft, needs to go sideways and at an angle. In our Patriot forget about it. Speaking of collapsing it. It isn’t a one hand job. The front wheels tend to caster around the wrong direction while collapsing, and get hung up on itself so that it will only collapse about 90%. To get the full 100% and to be able to latch it, you have to turn the wheels backwards, then collapse and latch it.
Lastly, the overall length makes maneuvering in and out doors difficult. I’m 6’5” and it is a challenge to open doors and push it through. I can’t imagine doing it if I was a foot shorter.
