I purchased this item to use as a bassinet for my 3rd child. This is the third pack-n-play I have purchased over the years. The mattress in my older pack-n-plays warped from trying to sanitize it so I was shopping for an inexpensive replacement. As you know, infants are messy and the pack-n-play mattress is not waterproof as all standard crib mattresses are. Concerns with this item: 1. It explicitly says printed in the bassinet attachment that you CAN NOT use play yard sheets when in bassinet mode. This is not hygienic as most newborns require a change of sheets frequently. 2. I spoke with a GRACO representative directly and they DO NOT MANUFACTURE sheets in the Nimble Nook size at all. I spent an hour on the phone with her and she looked and looked and discovered that they in fact do not make appropriate sheets. 3. GRACO representative told me that Pack N Plays ARE NOT to be utilized for overnight sleeping under any circumstance even though it is called a bassinet. She stated that they are only for day time play or short naps with adults awake. She said the mattress is not rated for overnight sleeping! So, in theory, you should not use this for overnight sleeping when traveling which is one of the primary ways it is marketed.Graco Pack N' Play Playard Nimble Nook, Pierce 4. There are no sheets available from secondary sellers in this size. The sheets that amazon suggests do not fit. Do NOT buy this to use as a bassinet. There are no sheets available and Graco says that it is not appropriate for infant sleeping. I ended up purchasing a Baby Box from Baby Box Co. I was wanting to utilize the nimble nook as a safe, affordable, portable infant sleeping option. According to the Graco customer service rep, the Nimble nook is not appropriate to meet this need. Although it is called a bassinet, it is not appropriate for overnight infant sleeping, you cannot put a tight fitting sheet on it and the mattress is not water proof. On the other hand, the Bed Box from the Baby Box Company rings in at less than the Nimble nook with appropriate sheets and swaddle included for safe infant sleeping 0-6 months of age. As a mom of 3, I was looking for simple, useful and safe. The NIMBLE NOOK is none of these.
