What a waste. I was so excited to get my bookshelf, and if it had been in good condition, it would have been the perfect fit for my needs. However, one of the long side boards is damaged with a large dent in it and seems to be unfinished--the holes for the screws were never drilled. This makes it pretty much useless. I tried contacting IKEA, but here's the thing ... regardless of what it may say above, you aren't buying this from IKEA, and they aren't going to help. You're buying this from KMY Discounters LLC, who offer no way to resolve a problem except shipping the whole unit back. All I need is one replacement part, and at this point, I don't even know how I'd pack everything back up to send the entire unit back. Lesson learned; never buy IKEA furniture unless you're in an IKEA store. And certainly don't buy from KMY DIscounters.
