Purchased this for my wife's 94 year old grandmother. She loves this chair. It has made her life so much better. It would take her a good 5 minutes to get out of her chair. Now she just pushes a button and she is standing in a few seconds. UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE Ordered in May and now as of September 22 the chair has stopped working. The control over heated and now it does nothing. I contacted Amazon about warranty repair and they said they didn't have a way to contact Ashley to start the warranty procedure. I contacted Ashley customer support and they said the retailer that sold it has to start the warranty procedure. I contacted Amazon again and they offered to refund me $500 of the $600 plus I paid for it and return it and order another one for $575 plus tax. Meanwhile my 95 year old grandmother has now lost her ability to get up out of a chair. Avoid Ashley all together and Amazon is just as bad. This is a crock...
