Not accurate or consistent
Maybe I got a bad one but, based on my experience, I do not find this to provide reliable readings. On my teen daughter it almost always shows 101.x. Gave me a scare the 1st time but 3 oral thermometers confirm 98.x. My younger son, myself and spouse sometimes see accurate readings but a minute later it will incorrectly read 100+. No rhyme or reason to the discrepancy.
