I was hoping to use this to keep track of my cat in my relatively small yard. He likes to climb under bushes and it's hard to find him. This thing however is completely useless and un reliable. It says tile out of range when in fact the tile is literally laying on top of the device. I would have better odds of finding my stuff blindfolded with my hands tied behind my back then by using this thing. Photos attached to give you an idea just how awful it is. For those who don't know what you're looking at, that is 3 different devices - one with the connected account and two with "shared location" laying directly next to / under the "lost" tile and none of them can "find" or see the tile. None of them can ring it and none of them react when set to "notify when found". All 3 devices say the tile is out of range. As a matter of fact the only device I was able to get this to work with was my iPhone 7 plus. This company claims a "network" of tile users can locate your device when they come within range of it, but the thing doesnt show in range on 3 out of my 4 devices when they are less than an inch away. If 3/4 of my registered devices can't find the thing - I highly doubt anyone else's device will either!
