I’d like to think of myself as a humidifier connoisseur. Suffering from asthma and a house that is always too dry, I’ve been sleeping with a humidifier since I was a teenager. I’m a mom of 2 now and the most important thing for my children is the air they breathe in! I’ve went through dozens of humidifiers from Vicks, Vornado baby, Crane, etc., before I stumbled upon this one. The fact that it’s filter free and “prevents mold” sold me immediately. That was my biggest concern with other humidifiers in the past - that nasty pink slime that always forms in the reservoir, whether it’s been used for two days or two months. I bought this humidifier hoping that I had finally found that holy grail product. It’s only been 2 weeks since I’ve been using it and it already has that pink slimy mold in the reservoir! Mind you, I used distilled water, plus it is left plugged in 24/7. Absolutely disappointed! Not worth the money, plus the light is horrible at night. More blinding than it is soothing. Save your money and buy something cheaper. It’ll probably develop the pink slimy mold on it, but at this point, I’m convinced they all do 🤷🏽‍♀️
