Good while it works, nightmare when it doesn't.
I've purchased Braava 380t late in December, and for a bit over a month it tooled happily around the house, cleaning up the dust. Other reviews cover the functionality, so I will not repeat myself, except to note that it's much better as a dry duster than a wet sweeper. The nightmare began when it broke. It took iRobot 3 weeks to get the replacement unit to me, plus another two and a half weeks to send the charger which they forgot to include with the replacement unit. At that point, I have been using Braava for about 6 weeks and waiting for them to send me a complete and functioning replacement for 6 more weeks. When I communicated this to them, they responded that they are extending my warranty by 52 days. Based on my experience with iRobot support policies, I cannot recommend them to anybody. The likelihood of needing warranty service is relatively high, and their level of customer support is pretty low. 03/29 Update The charger has arrived, and I resignedly plugged the Braava to charge overnight. When I came back, I saw that red light was still blinking. This wasn't the blinks referred to in the manual, where the number of blinks refers to the problem - instead it was blinking continously. What could it be, I wondered? After opening a new case with support, it turned out the iRobot has sent me replacement Braava with no battery. I would like to repeat that again, to underline the ridiculousness of what happend: they sent the Braava WITHOUT a BATTERY. I'm guessing I was supposed to install a mini-hamster wheel in that space, but unfortunately I was completely out of hamsters. So far: 1 broken Braava unit, and two missing components, total downtime at 2 months plus and counting.
