The tubing is described as "standard", however I found that the inner diameter of the tubing was small and was incompatible with all my other "standard" airline pieces (e.g., air pump, air stones, 3-way tees, etc., etc.). There was no way to get this tubing, which is also somewhat rigid, to stretch and go over the plastic nipples on other airline components. This tubing was completely useless, and I ended up just throwing it away.
