Today I tried to use the playpen for the first time, and placed my hamster inside, so I could clean up her cage. Five minutes later I found the hamster exploring the rest of my house. She was bored to stay inside and easily found a way to escape it. The trick is simple, so when I put her into the playpen again, she escapes literally in less than 30 seconds. She just runs to a side, and climbs up the mesh. Despite of decent quality and easy to fold construction, I cannot use the playpen for its purpose.
