These are just okay. They have a very nice carry case, but the optical quality is not that great. The image seems like there's a bit of haze over it, and when the center of view is in focus, the surrounding edge is not. I tried cleaning the lenses, thinking they must have had smudges on them, but that didn't help. I needed a 2nd pair (so my wife and I could both have a pair), but I decided to try another similarly priced brand. I went with this one: Occer 12x25 Compact Binoculars with Low Light Night Vision, Large Eyepiece High Power Waterproof Binocular Easy Focus for Outdoor Hunting, bird watching, Traveling, Sightseeing Fit For adults and kids The Occer 12x25 binoculars have a less well-fitting carry case, but the optical quality is much better, for just about $5 more. The Occer's have a bright, crisp, focus over the entire viewing area. They also have an easier turning focus wheel.
