Used this blender twice a day for a few weeks before running into major issues. Just got off the phone with the manufacturer, and after spending 20 minutes giving them the barcode, model number, and other information, they still wanted to charge us money to ship us a new part. This was even with me registering this blender upon receipt. Here is the reasons why I’d recommend people reading this to look for a better product: 1. Safety is important, especially when it comes to our babies and what they put into their body. The black part pictured began to deteriorate and rub against the fitting that spins. This created a black rubber powder that just gets everywhere. Obviously not good to keep using this product when you notice an issue like that. 2. When someone takes the time to give you all necessary information to confirm purchase, and even took the time to create an account to register for the warranty up front, don’t charge them more money to ship something that didn’t work properly the first time around. Most people will not spend even more money on a product they know they can’t trust. At that point, offer a refund, or an exchange for a different product, in the hopes that they may once again begin to trust your brand. We as a family, will never buy a nutribullet again, especially when there are plenty of other offers out there with similar products. To conclude, this was a birthday gift for my wife from her father, so that we could use to make nice meals for our first baby. We are disappointed, and my wife just mentioned she’s bummed it was a waste of a gift. I hope my review and recommendation can at lease save a few people from a similar experience. Look elsewhere, I’m sure there’s something better. We have been using our staff mixer instead, and we are perfectly happy with that. Also, I know there’s probably many 5 star reviews where people are very happy with their purchase, and that’s great for them. I was hoping that would be our experience, but obviously it wasn’t. I know things don’t always meet up to expectations but I would have been less upset if the customer service was better. Maybe my standards are too high...but maybe not.
