It works as advertised but.......
Within 2 days I had a sparrow build a nest in this house. Then she laid an egg and a baby hatched. Then the mother bird was spooked by the fact that there is motion detectable by her behind the box through the glass. She refused to come back to feed the baby bird. I think birds need privacy and this doesnt provide what they need, Plus they build nests that pretty much block any view through the back. So you cant see them but they can hear you. Thought it was a great idea but had to toss it with the dead baby bird and I will leave the birds to build their own nests in the trees.
