I usually use another brand that I love but it is expensive at $22 a bag. I wanted to try this out to see if it would work just as good for half the price. I have one 12 year old cat. I will say my cat loved this brand. As far as why I gave it 2-star. When I first setup the litter box with this litter I was very excited so I went directly to the litter box once my cat used it. It was easy to scoop out the poop but no matter how much I moved the urine around in the litter it wouldn’t evenly distribute through the other litter it was just mush that stayed together. I clean the litter box everyday and I noticed (photos attached ) that the litter with urine formed these very hard crystals. So it IS a clumping litter but that also means the bag won't last a month. I dug to the bottom of the litter box and it was just a hard crystalized bottom because of the urine. Not happy with my purchase
