Faulty Device
After reading other reviews, I am wondering if there are two different versions of this device, one with a blue laser that performs flawlessly, and one with a red laser that has issues with the buttons sticking.
Sadly, I was sent one with a red laser, and the left button is strong, but right button stuck after my very first click. In addition, the mouse will not work at all if I put the battery cover on the mouse. The cover seems to fit, but it apparently forces the battery into a position where it loses contact and shuts down completely. This is ridiculous. Where is the quality control?
Needless to say I am sending back this useless garbage.
EDIT:
I bought this mouse from another seller that clearly stated that they were selling the version with the BLUE LASER. Sure enough, the blue laser mouse arrived and WORKS FLAWLESSLY!
So, to make it clear
YES, THERE ARE TWO DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF THIS DEVICE. ONE WITH A RED LASER AND ONE WITH A BLUE LASER. BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE (and also based on reading other reviews here) THE RED LASER DEVICE IS PRONE TO SERIOUS DEFECTS, AND THE BLUE LASER DEVICE WORKS AS DESCRIBED. I SUGGEST THAT YOU NOT PURCHASE A MOUSE OF THIS TYPE UNLESS THE MERCHANT CLEARLY STATES THAT THEY ARE SELLING THE VERSION WITH THE BLUE LASER.
