I was initially happy with this cover, as it doesn't have a strong smell, is soft, and is not made of toxic materials like other mattress covers. Now I'm furious. My older cat had an accident on my bed today, and it went straight through. (She has never done that before. Figures it happens right after I buy this thing.) Anyone familiar with cats knows their urine scent is incredibly difficult to get out of fabric. So my very expensive organic mattress is basically destroyed. This company needs to stop calling this cover 'waterproof.' It should also be noted that, to date, none of the 5 star reviews mention children, adults, or pets having had accidents on it. So they haven't actually tested the real-world waterproof capabilities of this cover (i.e. a large amount of offensive-smelling liquid sitting for hours on the cover.)
