So I thought this was a pretty good deal for a pretty good phone so I picked this up rather quickly, which is unusual for me because I normally like to do a lot of research before buying a phone. No doubt about it this phone is well worth the money. Great performance, screen, decent cameras, NFC, Type-C, quick charging, qhd display. Everything you want in a flagship is really here, which is rare because you are paying a very low price for this. Now why 2 stars? Well because the shopping experience was rather terrible. I was under the impression I would be receiving a unit that was factory unlocked, debranded with a multitude of different bands supporting all US carriers and to an extent it is this. But what I received was the AT&T branded model. What does this mean? Well for one, when I purchased my unit I didn't have any idea what model it was, and when I looked at the questions and answers, I get a bunch of different responses. People either receive an H918 or an H910. The 910 is AT&T and the 918 is T-Mobile. I have MetroPCS and they go off of T-Mobile's towers and frequencies and they are missing one huge thing on the AT&T model, and that's band 66 support which can provide future support for expanded LTE on T-Mobile. I would not be so upset if this was just a single unlocked unit sold by LG. I wish I would have had the choice or even the knowledge on the product page to make an informed decision. I have reached out to the seller to see if he has any of the T-Mobile H918 models that I could replace with my unit, but knowing this really kills me and if I can't get an H918 model from Amazon I am afraid I will just have to purchase it elsewhere. Will update when I have more information from the seller.
