If you read the book, the only similarity is the name. Brace yourself.
No drugs, no prostitutes, no yacht, no island, no stalking drug lords, no recovery story, no side-action trip to a foreign country for a POW extraction....I can't believe someone paid $2.5M for the rights to this OG Clancy novel and made.....this. Not that the book didn't have its faults too, but I guess I assumed that they would have boiled the book down, not just thrown it out completely.
Sigh.
