I tried the whole line of Loreal Revitalift Bright Reveal Loreal and was excited to see if it lived up to its claim of reducing fine lines and wrinkles. It said nothing about my other skin problems (large pores, oily skin, acne) but figured it might help with the wrinkles. I was able to try these products for free from Loreal and I did so for two weeks. My first impression was not good. The products seemed to make my skin more red than usual and left a sticky, tacky feel behind. I figured the redness was because it was new and my skin would need to adjust. This did not go away as time progressed however and actually got worse as I started breaking out pretty bad from the products. I pushed through though since I wanted to give it a full two weeks but at the end nothing changed and I was still red and acne ridden. Also, I do not feel it did anything for my wrinkles. The product claims that within 1-2 weeks you would notice a change in fine lines and wrinkles but I did not. My face remained the same for those two issues. As far as the brightness part of the product I can't really write to that. My skin doesn't have dullness and is always bright and shiny with oil so I'm probably the wrong person for that aspect of this product line. Overall I would definitely not recommend this product line to anyone with oily or acne prone skin. If you have rosacea you will become more red most likely so stay away if you have that too. I went back in my normal routine after two weeks of using the Loreal line and my skin is back to normal with minimal redness and acne. For the astringent pads in particular I did not like anything about them. They left my face feeling sticky and didn't seem to really do anything or my skin. They do contain alcohol denat. which could be the main culprit of making my skin so red and acne ridden. I'm not sure if it was one or all products that caused redness so that is why I am rating this product so low. In the pictures the before is on the right and bottom of the comparison shots.
