If you like cutting selvages off of narrow strips of fabric this is the scrap bag for you!
After trimming the selvage off of every piece they are 1 1/2-2 1/2" wide. That's a lot of scrap that goes in the trash. Don't use selvages in quilt making. ONE PIECE. THATS RIGHT ONE was 2 2/4" wide. It will be slow work cutting the selvage off of such small strips. Great way to use up my sewing time! After trimming all the strips I weighed the fabric. I had 9.4 ounces. So I ended up with a half pound of usable fabric. 1/4 of fabric was selvages. But the total package was 12 ounces. Still will not order again. To make usable strips I have 1 1/2", 2" and 2 1/2" strips 31" long. I hope this is useful information.
