BEWARE!!! Not authentic maca! I've been a maca advocate for a couple years. So much so that I've looked into creating my own brand and I've found some shady stuff out there. Specifically how the maca roots were taken from peru and grown in other continents (**cough china cough**). Which means these are not grown in the best conditions. Altitude, maybe. But still it's nowhere near as good and you can tell. When I wanted to save some coin I said, whatever let me try this one. I also wanted to change my mother in laws' life by introducing this to her. You know the menopause and energy issues. Well after 2 full months every day of using this my mind hadn't altered. No increased energy or focus (like before) or any sexual benefits that I was used to. I quickly did research into what other types of maca were out there and found Chinese maca is sold in BULK to american companies which are just straight garbage in terms of potency and quality. It had to be the case right? The next week I bought a more expensive brand. BOOM 1 week later those famous maca benefits were soaring like nothing before. Intense focus, energy, those manly assertive feelings (you know...). I was pissed, annoyed and felt robbed. (I thought... what the heck was I putting into my body?) To know, do your research. MACA comes from PERU and should only come from there. Any package, if made and grown in Peru will have that evidence on the package somewhere. If not, you can almost guarantee it's from a different foreign land. I don't mean to be evil for this company, clearly, they are doing well. BUT I've been screwed by supplement hucksters and snake oil salesman my entire nutritional existence and have to say something when I see something. This is straight triggered trash bulk garbage maca. If you want authentic goods, check out the packaging and do a little research into the facilities. P.S. their site doesn't even exist...
