I will preface this by saying I love the reel. Works great, when you connect a quality feed hose from your hose bibb to the connection port on the reel. The hose that came with the reel blew out in about 5 minutes. I then had to replace with the one from my previous reel which is over 10 years old. Brass fittings on the supplied hose are poor quality. So I am docking 1 star from an otherwise 5 star product. If you order, plan on replacing the provided hose. Product Update : I have now downgraded this to 1 star. If I could go lower I would. I recommend not purchasing this product. After 3 months the mounting plastic bracket sheared away from the house ripping off the top member. The hose reel is listed as having a 5 year warranty on the Ames web site, however the 90 day warranty only applies here (as discovered through the seller and Ames). I have noticed many other purchasers have posted pictures or descriptions of the same issue. It looks as though they all fail at one of the upper mounting points. Disappointing product and poor quality. Ames' web site does not even list any replacement parts available for this model hose reel.
