You can fast forward through them, but you cannot skip them. I have three girls that love Pride and Prejudice and we, as parents, appreciate that it is pretty clean of adult content. The previews, however, do not follow that standard. In this version, if we want to safeguard their eyes for a little while longer, we have to stand there for a few minutes and fast forward through each of the five previews. Here's how it goes: Insert CD; Disclaimer (10 sec); Wait for copyright disclaimer (10sec); Watch Lionsgate intro (22 seconds); 5 Different Previews (cannot skip, but can fast forward individually): Austenland, PG-13 (2min, 5sec); Dirty Dancing, PG-13 (1 min 19 sec); Shakespeare in Love, Rated R (1min 42 sec); The English Patient, Rated R (1 min 29); Ring of Fire: Johnny and June Carter Cash's tumultuous relationship (1min 1sec).
