specs mean nothing
I paid an additional $200 to get the Samsung brand TV with HDMI Anynet+ feature. This allows all of your Samsung brand home theater devices to easily work from one remote. This TV does not have Anynet+. The Samsung specs claim that it does but I can tell you for certain that it does not! I called Samsung twice about the lack of Anynet. I purchased another Samsung model that tech support claimed had Anynet on it. That on too did not have Anynet. They tried everything to get it working. After moving from level 1 tech support to level 2 and eventually up to the Customer resolution department. I was told that the TV does not have Anynet as advertised. They also claimed that Samsung has a disclaimer on the spec sheet that says Samsung may change their specs at their own digression with no further Notice. This too is not true. There is no disclaimer on their spec sheet.
I thought highly of Samsung before this experience. It's one thing to make a mistake and try to correct it but Samsung has no intention of correcting it. They just spin off another lie to cover the first lie.
I'm done with Samsung !
