This was packed well. Box had no visible damage. When we opened it, large amount of damage on one outer side where bed is attached to molding. Happened before packing. Company denies this despite picture showing the damage before the bed was assembled. They say we damaged it in putting it together. We asked for one side to be replaced and they denied our request despite a picture of single side standing against a wall with visible damage and not assembled by us. They state we could not assemble product if it was damaged. Well, it is now assembled because we needed the item and waited several days for it. We just want the one side replaced. Rude company and not at all concerned with their public image. Read other reviews about things which arrived damaged. Very expensive for this poor customer service. Amazon should make them responsible or refuse to use them on their site. I do not hate the bed. I like it. I dislike the company selling it. After going through Amazon claims, the seller has agreed to refund me if I return the item. I am not going to try to package 199 lbs and insure it to get a refund. We have the bed assembled with the damaged peice in a corner. I will consider it a lesson learned but wish I had checked the Houston, Tx BBB first since this company has an F rating for sending out defective products and not standing behind their materials.
