Terrible product. Does not work as advertised. I thought I'd give it a shot and see if the few negative reviews were right as I didn't have anything to loose to try it out and send it back, as we have 5 different vehicles we could use this on. We usually only haul with 1 vehicle it would have been nice for the few short trips with the other vehicles that are capable of hauling and sometimes more convenient than a 1 ton dually. Engineering team needs to go back to the drawing board and review their hazard analysis work on the software side. Brakes would randomly turn on, tried all different settings and sensitivities. Why Curt let such a safety critical item out to production is beyond me. This product is a death trap waiting to happen when your trailer brakes are randomly applied while driving down the road without you as the driver applying brakes. It's a great concept, but it was not exicuted properly. I have a 2016 transit 250 and 1year old 10k trailer we tried this on. I can confirm it's not my vehicles issue or my trailers. This item needs to be recalled before someone gets killed.
