The product shipped by Amazon is not as advertised
Amazon ships an old version of the product that is not compatible with Apple HomeKit. Please note Apple HomeKit only supports v3 and later. The model shipped by Amazon is the old v2. So, while Amazon advertises the product as compatible with Apple HomeKit, they are shipping an outdated version for which this is not the case.
