Update: I did eventually get the plants to grow, but the flower color is definitely not as depicted. I think I discovered what everyone is complaining about. There was really only one viable seed in the packet. You can see the light seed disc amongst chaff (center right). I will still try to plant it, even though dahlias usually don’t grow well from seed by we amateurs.
