Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I read the mixed reviews even though i was skeptical about their "genuineness" since some of the reviews seemed nearly identical and used consistent titles like the theme "Traditional clothes pin". Once I got them, I quickly realized that these are made up reviews because there is no way these clothes pins can hold clothes. Or, I purchased from a batch that is defective. Either way, I would NOT recommend you purchase these pins. They cannot hold clothes nor anything heavier than a piece of paper. However, I must say that Shipping and delivery was timely and prompt. Quality was not what i expected. It appears that the spring mechanism is cheaply wrapped around the wood so when you apply pressure, the wood swivels on the pivot point and so the pins can't hold anything because the ends do not meet up. Even if the ends did meet up, there is not enough tension in the spring to hold anything but a light piece of paper. I am using them for a craft project with the kids and a few have twisted so far out of place that I had to toss them. I would try to find better quality next time I purchase some clothes pins and am willing to pay more for it. These simply are not able to function as a "clothes" pin.
