I have been using this since July, it is now November and the rod just broke. It lost its tension and when my husband took it down to see what was wrong we saw that the screw inside cracked in half. It's no surprise since the screw is made of plastic! Very disappointed, and amazon won't let me return or replace with a new one because the return window has expired. Do not buy this product! Update June 2014 The company just recently contacted me and basically stated that they stand by their product and what can they due to remedy the situation. I asked them to send me a new shower rod and they did. It's been less than a month and it's holding up thus far. Will comment again if there needs to be. However, regardless of wether or not the rod lasts, the customer service was very kind and I appreciate them replacing the product.
