I had the older version of this flashlight that lasted 15+ years before finally dying. This time it lasted less than a year. Looked up warranty and it says lifetime warranty. Contacted energizer and they said if I kept the original packaging they'd honor the warranty. I don't know about you, but I'd have no living space in my house if I kept every package for everything I bought. This is completely disingenuous. The Energizer rep said he'd give me a $5 coupon. Amazon should put disclaimers on their site when a company engages in this kind of fraud.
