This Stereo/Radio sounded and looked awesome when I first installed it. It was so nice to have a clock in my 1999 Honda CR-V after about a decade without one. However, this was short-lived glee, because, after two weeks, the LCD display went nuts, and has essentially become unusable (it appears to be trying to communicate with me in an alien language). According to the trouble-shooting guide, if the radio doesn't work, first turn on the car. They also helpfully suggest turning the key in the ignition if your car isn't on. There is a reset button, and I got around to trying that as well, and not only did it not fix my problem, but it erased all my laboriously-programmed FM channels, as well. Since, on a Honda CR-V, you practically have to remove the front wheels and transmission to get into the dashboard, I'm not going to replace this radio simply because the LCD has stopped working. I used it enough that I can remember what all the settings are and how to use them. But, I no longer have a clock again. It's a curse.
