Fire Hazard
Had this cable for less than a year and yesterday it almost caught on fire (see Pic). It was connected to a 5V power adapter, but the Micro B end of the cable wasn't connected to any device when we started smelling smoke. Thank god we were at home when it happened or who knows what might have happened. It even put a burn mark in our wooden end table.
