We are definitely early adopters when it comes to new technology, we did a lot of research on which lock to buy and let me tell you we are incredibly disappointed with the August lock. In one month of use the device is now broken; it will not manually open and the internal mechanism is completely worn out causing the device not to catch and open the lock. I reached out to August and they refuse to support us because we live in The Netherlands (bought via Amazon USA through Global Shipping options). All we need is a 50 cent plastic piece that sits on the inside of the device and I even offered to PAY for the shipping myself and they still refuse to support us because "their system can't ship to European addresses". It's just so simple to do the right thing by your customers and August has chosen not to do that. What a terrible way to treat your customers, we'll be sure to communicate our experience as widely as possible.
