I never leave reviews - but thought that this was important. I bought this item months ago, but had my baby girl a week ago. This is not balanced - due to the design of the product. You can level it so that the horizontal piece is level, but then the width is not level and your newborn will roll onto their side - which is incredibly unsafe! Having her next to me at bedside and being able to push the side down to get her is brilliant, but the safety issue is a really big deal. I’ve rigged it so it’s as level as possible using wedges under feet and docking it onto my end table. However, now I can’t swivel it out, making it hard to get out of bed. I ignored the reviews saying it tilted - it tilts! I’m a physician and take care of newborns regularly - I would NOT recommend this.
