Luckily (or not), before the return time expired, I needed to use this flat fixer for a small nail that punctured the tread. I had just purchased this item and I decided that it would be a good time to test it out, rather than call a tow truck. I followed the directions to a "T" and the valve would not connect tightly to the tire valve. I finally was able to tighten the PLASTIC connector and turned the Slime on. It wouldn't fill the tire. Instead, the bottle of Slime in the repair kit began to swell and it opened up the unit. (See photos) When I took the connector off the tire valve, Slime squirted everywhere. All over the tire, the pavement. I felt as if I were in one of those kid shows, Sliming from a high pressure hose. Suffice it to say that I tired multiple times to get the thing to work and every time, the Slime bottle would expand, and the darn thing wouldn't go in the tire.
